notsomuch
Just got back from getting my glucose test done...blech!
I had to have blood drawn twice...the first time fasting blood...then the second was after the hour the glucose drink was consumed.....the two were just in case the drink didn't stay down...that my doctor would have at least some indication of my sugar levels fasting....if that drinkypoo didn't stay down......

Of course right when I got home...I barfed up said drinkypoo....not tasty either time letmetellyou!

Little homegirl scared me last night...it was litterally HOURS that I hadn't felt her move...and so I was moving my belly....poking it....shaking it....trying to get her to move....but I couldn't drink or eat (because I was fasting for the bloodwork) homegirl still didn't move.....it was 2 hours before I felt one little kick at 2:30 in the morning.....but then I thought...what if that wasn't a kick....ahhhh.....I was a bit nervous....so I waited for another.....that took about a half an hour more waiting.....but she finally decided she would grace me with her kicks.....of course she's doing a jig right now.....like usual.....but she scared me last night...the little booger!

I'm getting rather excited about my baby showers! The first one is on September 30th and the next one is the second weekend in October! Fun times!

Apperently people in my family are asking my Grandma (she is hosting the first shower) "why the shower is so early...considering I'm not due until December"......I personally don't feel it's 'early'....do you????? I mean....hello.....I have to be prepared!!!! Duh people....of course the family members asking stupid things like that are also the people who have no kids........figures.

Blech....I don't feel so neat...I think I'm going to go lay down....

No, I don't think it's too early but then again, my shower was three weeks before I had him...my family shower that is.

OY!!! That glucose stuff is nasty...sorry you had to taste it twice!

Sent you some email updates! Get better soon!

One of the moms I babysit for is pregnant with her 4th kid. She's had hyperemisis (sp?) with all of her pregnancies and is now taking Zfran too, which she says helps tremendously. She also mentioned that Unisom also works for anti-nausea. Wasn't sure if your docs already told you that so I thought I'd pass it on. Hope the glucose test ends up fine.

When do you get the GTT results back? I had the fasting one done this week, and I forgot to ask when they'd know. Oy. I hope you're doing okay, dearie. How did your 26w appointment go?
