update

I had my 24 week ob visit yesterday...down another 2 pounds...baby is doing great as usual...she kept moving all around when the midwife was trying to hear her heartbeat...she's a stinker when people touch my belly she gets all bitter and always shoves away!

I've been feeling pretty much like poo lately...I am really tired of always being sick...I had the worst night on Saturday night...I just kept on throwing up soooo many times I couldn't even beleive how there could even BE that much in my stomach to bring up....after the 3rd or 4th round I tried to lay back down in bed but was overcome with tears from the pain...and hubby got up and got me a cold towel for my head and rubbed my back...then the final puke came up and I took one of my strong (knocks me out for 6 hours) medicine for nausea and was finally able to go to sleep...it hurt still before I fell asleep...and hubby rubbed my back till I fell asleep.

We picked up the carseat and stroller last night....we ended up getting the Britax Boulevard in Onyx...and the Bugaboo Gecko in black....now we're ready for little homegirl when she's ready to meet us :)

Well I just ate some lunch...a mini bagel with cream cheese....and it feels like it's trying to make it's way back up....(shocking) so I am going to go now.

le sigh

I'm bored.
I took out all my fabric and was going to sew...but what to sew...
I have a gang load of fabric...and two perfectly wonderful sewing machines
but I can't find the gumption to sew....oy.

I guess I'm mostly bored because my Husband won't be home until after midnight tonight he's going to a baseball game after work, for some work function....then he has another long day tomorrow so I won't see him until about 8pm tomorrow night......and right now....being home alllll day.....with everyone I know working.....I need him to be my sanity at the end of the day :) Ya know....someone to talk to besides the dog. (At least the dog never disagrees with me, right?)

On a neat-o note...my sister (who got married last month) is moving back home! Her and her Hubby decided San Diego was not the place for them just two short days ago...and are coming home NEXT WEEK!!! Yay for that.....I will get to see my little Tator Tot once again :) yay, he was excited when they told him he was moving back 'home' and excited to be close to his favorite and best auntie in the whole widest world OK so I made that last part up...but whatever :)

My sister is an excellent sewer....errr...or would that be seamstress....oh who knows...anyway once she comes back we can go back to having our sewing pow wows once again :) She's so artsy it inspires me to try to make something even remotly as good as what she does....not that, that will ever happen.....she's much to artsy for me....She can draw, paint...sew...you name it with the best of em....me on the other hand....I have a hard time drawing a stick figure, how sad is that.

Last night I ate a scoop of peanut butter chocolate ice cream from Baskin Robbins since it was dollar scoop night....oh man alive did the baby love that...she was kicking and dancing and bee bopping for about a half an hour! Hubby even felt her kick last night for the first time during her little 'episode' she was drunk on sugar!

22 week ob appt.

Just got back from today's doctor appointment....I lost 3 more pounds....bringing my weight to -23 pounds since becoming pregnant....the heartbeat was spiffy on the baby....I'm going to be 22 weeks tomorrow....but my uterus was measuring at 30 weeks! That's huge! The baby measures on target to my due date according to ultrasounds....I think my ueterus is just measuring big because I'm short....with not much of a torso :) Anywhoozle.....that's my story for the day.

Bonding

When did/do you bond with your baby?
Where you still pregnant?
Was it after birth?
Was it at the time of birth?

Just wondering...

I think I've had a hard time bonding with this baby so far because I've been so sick all the time....I'm not sure what 'normal' is as far as bonding with baby....does it happen now....was it already supposed to happen...does it happen at the birth...or after....I'm just not sure.....

things

Well the dresser combo ditty has arrived...it's sitting in our living room currently! Hubby is going to tackle that project this weekend. I can't wait to have the room all set up :)

It's time for another belly shot....well a couple days past time actually...but I don't seem to look any different from the last shot...so I've put it off...ya know...

I've been getting a few painful contractions through out the past week or so each day...

I have my 10 year high school reunion coming up soon! On August 19th...to be exact....me and the hubby will be attending that together...there is a pretty big list of people who will be there...should be fun!

I can't wait to get all the little clothes we have put away in the dresser...and get the room all prettiefied :)

I need to take a shower! Staying home all day...and throwing up so often....and never really feeling 'well' I just tend to lay around all day....but there are times even my own smell repulses me! I sometimes smell like throw up....(your welcome for the mental picture) and that's just not neat! I need to go cleanse myself before hubby comes home from work...it's the least I could do!

my eye has another lovely bloodshot vein in it....it's rather sexy....or something...it's the same one that has been hurting...now it just hurts worse since it's all sore and bloody...and sexy! My Husband was able to find me an eyepatch...so I am a pirate now....ARRRGH! Thanks to walgreens :)
